Pioneer unveils wi-fi enabled CDJ-900NXS

"Play tracks via CD, USB connection, smartphone or tablet"

Pioneer has unveiled the new CDJ-900NXS player!

Of course its able to play music from a bunch of sources, CDs, USB, Mac/PC, and smartphones and tablets via wireless sync with Pioneer's rekordbox app.

CDJ-900NXS is set to launch in December 2013 priced at £1149/€1399. For full spec info head over to Pioneer DJ.

My dj-setup

What is a dj-setup?

Way back a dj-setup was built on   2 Vinyl Record players, 1 mixer and 2 speakers (basically),  but now everything is pretty much done digitally.  (Meaning that you have a controlling system that tells a computer what to do.)

What hardwear are you using?

I'm rocking two cdj 350(silver), one djm 250(silver)

and I'm connecting them to my asus ultrabook.

And for sound I've got a pair of nEar 05 by ESI speakers,

and my headphones are called akg k518dj.

What sofwear are you using?

Traktor is my softwear of choice, iv tried most

of the softwear on the market, how ever Traktor

is one of the only once that supports my rig.

The controller is a close match to Dj Techtools "Midifighter", 
So what's different about the Umidi? 
 
Well first off it's highly customizable, with alot more fetures then themidifighter, 
you could also argue that the Umidi is better looking but that is highly personal. 
 
 

So how much dose they both cost? 

 
Well since the midifighter is the only one out on the market at the moment, 
and taken in count that the midifigher also is customizable,  
the absolutely cheapest version is priced at $175.00. 
And when the Umidi is released the price will be $1050 incl. international shipping.

Revibe Stream electronic music!

In 2012 the streaming service Revibe launched,  its portal for electronic music in Sweden and now it's time for the service to make the move abroad! Now  launched in Denmark, Norway and Finland.

Besides listening to music, users can even use the tools on the site to auto mix music but there are also some more advanced tools with which the user can remix songs manually.

You can test Revibe free for one month and wants to continue using the service after that, it costs 49 dollars a month.

Dj Small city Syndrome

Today I have been working on a high bpm count mix (140+), which is new to me.
Since I mostly mix house which is most common to be in the range of 120-130~.
I will keep posting on my progression of the mix.
